Let's talk

EurAqua aims to increase collaboration in freshwater research and technology development to improve understanding in freshwater systems, both in hydrology, morphology, water chemistry and ecology and to facilitate science-based decision making towards climate resilient, sustainable and inclusive management of Europe’s freshwater resources.

The EurAqua partners are consistently working to advance the science, tools, innovative solutions and technical practices around resilient water management, improve water quality and restore and protect freshwater ecosystems. Two main principles are driving the research activities by the EurAqua partners: (1) co-creation with the stakeholders, ranging from local and national governments, EU-commission, non-governmental organisations, and (2) collaboration between the research institutions to contribute to planning and actions towards water resilience, zero pollution and the protection of biodiversity. We welcome your ideas and contributions for bridging the science-policy gap, capacity development and international collaboration.
