Established in 1992, EurAqua facilitates collaborations between European research institutes to provide science, approaches, tools, and solutions to support decision-making on building a water-resilient Europe. EurAqua provides leadership in coordinating efforts to understand Europe’s freshwater challenges and to develop solutions to protect and equitably share freshwater resources for the benefit of biodiversity, society, and sustainable economies. Since its launch, over 100 European co-funded collaborative research projects have carried EurAqua’s signature. The priority topics for envisaged joint research activities are laid down in EurAqua’s Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA). Read more about the SRIA here.
