Program co-leads: Alan Gilmer (Technical University of Dublin), Johannes Cullmann (Federal Institute for Hydrology)
The Science-Policy working group in EurAqua seeks to bridge the gap between science and policy to support sustainable water management. This initiative integrates the EU consultation process which emphasizes a collaborative and multidisciplinary science-based policy platform to enhance water resilience.
Program co-leads: Anna-Kaisa Ronkanen (Finnish Environment Institute, Syke) and Gareth Old (UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, UKCEH).
The program focuses on co-ordinating knowledge exchange (e.g. providing opportunities for learning, sharing research outcomes and fostering researcher mobility across Europe) to support the advancement and uptake of freshwater science in European water management.
Program co-leads: Florence Poey (INRAE) & Laurence Carvalho (NIVA)
This program aims to increase collaboration in freshwater research and innovation amongst EurAqua partners. It does this through sharing information on EU research and innovation calls, collecting expressions of interests from partners in calls, facilitating consortia building, aligning national research projects and planning joint research activities.
