This program aims to increase collaboration in freshwater research and innovation amongst EurAqua partners. It does this through sharing information on EU research and innovation calls, collecting expressions of interests from partners in calls, facilitating consortia building, aligning national research projects and planning joint research activities.
Knowledge on Horizon Europe calls, including related programmes (Mission Ocean & Waters, Water4All, Biodiversa+), is shared early. The team coordinate feedback on early draft programmes and interest on calls. Topics of high interest are discussed at twice-yearly all-partner meetings. Informally, the network can be used by partners to advertise interest in any specific call to facilitate involvement in any developing consortia.
EurAqua partner leads also discuss other opportunities for aligning research, developing bilateral funding proposals or COST Actions at all partner meetings. Where needed, additional activities (such as workshops) are organised to publicise partner expertise and discuss ideas for proposals.
